I encourage you to adapt and incorporate these secrets into your home routine as well:
Secret Number One: Establish a Daily Goal for Activity.
Just remember what's crucially important altogether of sales: you cannot write any business if you do not have prospects and clients to pitch to.
And that means you've got to place within the activity-the calls, the follow-ups, the emails, etc., to line those demos/presentations.
And that means you would like to possess a daily goal for activity. Ask yourself:
a. what percentage dials does one got to make each and each day?
b. what's your contact rate goal-you know, the amount of actual prospects you're focused on connecting with during a day?
c. what percentage demos/presentations are you focused on getting into a day? during a week?
d. and the way many demos are you focused on giving each day/week/month?
Not only do I even have a daily goal, but I track my calls/contacts/demos every day. you ought to, too.

Secret Number Two: Make Your Prospecting Calls Early within the Day.
Let's face it: Cold calling is tough. it is easy to place off. Many things distract us when we're within the office, but now there are 100 more things reception that steals our focus.
That's why I learned early that if I buy the toughest thing out of the way first, then every day is going to be successful regardless of what.
But the key's to form this your favorite priority before you progress on to the other "non-essential" duties. By committing to the hardest-and most important-activity first, you'll not only found out the demos and closes, but you'll feel better about yourself also.

Secret Number Three: Do Non-Essentials tasks at the top of Your Day.
I've got news for you: Sending that email after you get off the phone with an opportunity isn't an important activity. they will wait a couple of hours...
Nothing steals some time or robs you of your momentum quite hanging up the phone with an interesting prospect than breaking your rhythm by stopping to send an email to them.
Instead, jump back on the phone and keep dialing! Reach your goal first, then you'll comfortably (and without guilt) take time to send your emails.
The key's rhythm and momentum. Get it. Keep it. Power through.

Secret Number Four: Develop a Food Routine.
I know this might sound strange but planning what-and when-you're getting to eat is extremely important.
Now that you're home, does one ever end up hanging call at your own kitchen or browsing your pantry?
And how about coffee or tea? have you ever ever found yourself too caffeinated to take a seat at your desk?
Frequent breaks for snacks-especially bad ones to reward yourself after an honest call before you send that email (see Secret Number Three above), also steal momentum and may become hour-long, unplanned breaks.
Plus, when you're receiving, it is easy to suddenly become a gourmet chef (as in this is often getting to take the afternoon?).
Pack your lunch and snacks before time, don't binge the coffee, and follow your normal "work" meal routine.

Secret Number Five: Plan Your Day the Night Before.
Not planning your workday, the afternoon or night before is one of the most important mistakes you'll make-whether you're employed from home or within the office.
Before you call it each day, you would like to collect and organize your leads; plan all of your calls-your clients and/or prospects-know when your closes are and schedule prospecting calls up to and immediately after all.
If you do not do that, it is easy to point out up at your desk within the morning and watch that morning evaporate during a flurry of activity that results in in-well, no results.
In conclusion: you'll work on home successfully and productively, but you initially must establish and stick with routines that support that.
